Taylor started her YouTube career through the recording of an ASMR videos on her mobile. PewDiePie used her video in an episode of one his shows shortly after she reached 50,000 subscribers, or about 1 1/2 months after she posted her first. Taylor was unable to work for her Youtube channel after two months. There were close to 100,000 subscribers. The reason for this was technical issues and the fact she felt overwhelmed. After a month long break Taylor began to make videos and uploaded videos again, among them the popular ASMR 10 Triggers to Help You sleep (35 million views as of the month of August, 2022). In July 2017 she uploaded another very popular video ASMR 20 Triggers to help to Sleep (38 million views by august 2022). Following the milestone of 1 million YouTube subscribers, she was interviewed in a Shane Dawson interview in August 2017. Wired UK calculated that she was earning $1,000 a day on her YouTube Channel from February to March 2019.

Dennis Helfer along with Elaine Helfer are the parents of Helfer. The couple is of German and English heritage. She was educated at the William E. Hay Composite High School of Stettler in Alberta. Her sisters Tammy, Tara, and Trena as well as her worked at the farm where she worked on her grain. At the age of 17, The agent from her modeling agency noticed the model while waiting in line in a theatre.
