Kim Victoria Cattrall was born in 1956 on the 21st August. Canadian born, British-born, she is best known for her character Samantha Jones (also called Samantha Jones) in the HBO TV series Sex and the City. The character was reprised in the Sex and the City films (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2009). Her most prominent roles include Police Academy, Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the 1980s. Kim Cattrall's role in the HBO television show Sex & the City is the most memorable. Cattrall is an established actress who's role as Samantha Jones in the popular TV show Sex & The City was a turning stage in her professional career. It was not only popular with viewers within her country of birth and led to her becoming a world-renowned star. She's best known as the actress who played La Dolce Vita in the film comedy drama. It was a huge critical and commercial hit and was awarded an award of the Golden Palm and Oscar at Cannes Film Festival 1960. Before her professional career as an model, the model from Skane was a fashion model. She ultimately won the Miss Sweden Contest. Then she moved to the US, and began appearing in a variety of films, in minor roles. Her first credited role was in the movie Abbott and Costello Go to Mars where she played the role of a Venusian guard. Soon after, her appearance in Blood Alley won her the Golden Globe for Most Promising young actor.
